Kelvin was called to the bar of England and Wales (Gray’s Inn) in 2019 and to the Hong Kong Bar in 2021.

Kelvin has served his pupillage with Mr Ching Y Wong, KC, SC, Mr Andrew Raffell, Mr Kenny Lin, Mr Albert Luk and Mr Samuel Yip. He is currently developing a broad practice in both criminal and civil law, with a strong focus on criminal law.

Commencing his practice, he has been involved in numbers of Court of Appeal and District Court cases, being led as junior counsel, they include but not limited to the following:

• 律政司司長 對 曹貴子（CHO Kwai-chee）and others (CACC 286/2021), led by Mr Ching Y Wong, SC and Ms Sylvia Tung – The Court of Appeal dismissed the Prosecution appeal by way of case stated.
• HKSAR v FONG Chung-yin Keith (DCCC 1119/2020), led by Mr Ching Y Wong, SC and Mr Jon Wong – Laser pen case

During his pupillage, he has also assisted his then pupil masters in many high-profile cases, including but not limited to the following:

• HKSAR v Mak Hoi Ching (DCCC 1193/2018), Pupil master Mr Andrew Raffell as counsel on fiat. – The abusive girlfriend case

Kelvin is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He accepts instructions in all areas of practice.
