Tanny was called to the Bar in 2024. She completed her pupillage with Mr. Andrew Raffell, Mr. Albert Luk, Mr. Kay Chan and Mr. Conrad Wan.
She maintains a broad legal practice and accepts instructions across Chambers’ work, with experience in both criminal and civil matters. She has specialist expertise in SFC regulatory law, advising and handling matters relating to securities regulation, compliance, and enforcement. Her civil practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on land and property disputes, commercial law, wills and probate, employment law, personal injury and bankruptcy and/or winding‑up petitions.
Before joining the Bar, Tanny held a senior position in procurement at a Top Fortune 100 company, where she played a key role in developing global strategies, leveraging her strong commercial acumen and exceptional management skills. Her extensive experience in negotiation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance provides a unique perspective in legal advisory, particularly in areas of corporate governance, commercial transactions, and contractual law.
She is available to provide both advocacy and advisory services and is proficient in conducting hearings, drafting legal documents, and handling mediation. She is capable of delivering these services in both English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
